There were 19 boats entered
representing GA, SC and NC
25 fish were weighed in (limit 2 per boat)
for a total of 353.28 lbs.
CHSC paid out approximately 60 percent of tournament revenues.
With a guaranteed first prize of $1,000, 2nd place paid $200 and 3rd place paid $100. The Big Fish Pot was "winner take all" with a prize of $380.
Proceeds from this tournament will be used to support the Fisheries Management Division of Georgia DNR in their efforts to maintain our lakes.
Over the past four years, CHSC has donated over $18,000 in equipment to DNR including the following:
oxygen meter
electro fishing unit used in the shocking boat
4-stroke, 75 hp Mercury outboard motor
6 aeration units for the McDuffie County Fish Hatchery
